Living in Gemini

Gemini was originally designed by Harry Seidler for developer Stanley Horwitz, who built the complex as serviced apartments in two stages. First was the north tower in 1961, then in 1969 the south tower and connecting air bridge were added.

From above the towers and air bridge form an "H".  This might be a nod to the Greek symbol for Gemini, or the building's architect Harry Seidler, or just a happy coincidence!

Nestled within the heart of Potts Point, our vibrant neighborhood offers an enticing blend of historic charm and modern convenience. Strolling along its leafy streets, you'll discover an array of boutique shops, trendy cafes, and renowned restaurants, catering to diverse tastes.

Harry Seidler

Harry Seidler designed more than 180 buildings and received much recognition for his contribution to architecture of Australia.

Seidler's designs are widely regarded as Sydney's leading examples of  Modernist design methodology, which he saw as an amalgam of three elements: social use, technology and aesthetics. Which of these elements do you think Gemini best reflects?
